Refund & Cancellation Policy

We understand that life can be unpredictable, and we want to honor both your needs and the commitments required to host a high-quality retreat experience.

Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of $100.00, per participant, is required to secure your spot. This deposit helps cover upfront retreat costs and reserving your space.

Cancellations and Refunds

All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted, in writing to debbie@stateofgracepeaceloveandhealing.com. When submitting a request, please include your full name, the retreat that you are requesting a refund for, and the email address that was used during registration. 

For retreat bookings with multiple participants, please indicate if a refund is being requested for all participants or specific participants. If a refund is being requested for specific participant(s), please include the full name of the participant(s) in your request.

Deposits are non-refundable, with the exception of the following circumstances:

  • Retreat cancellation, by the organizer.
  • Modifications of the retreat date(s) by the organizer.
  • Technical issues with the website that result in duplicate charges to your method of payment during retreat registration. Duplicate registrations initiated by a user, including delays in receiving a confirmation email, are not covered by this exception.

 

Refund eligibility deadlines, and associated refund amounts, are as follows: 

  • Before March 1st, 2026:
    You are eligible for a 75% refund of any payments made, less the non-refundable deposit.

  • On or After March 1st, 2026:
    Under most circumstances, refunds will not be issued during this period. We recognize that exceptional and unexpected circumstances arise. Please feel free to contact us and we will review your request on a case-by-case basis. Any alternate arrangements, or whole or partial refunds, will be made at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to decline any requests for refunds or alternative arrangements.

Refund eligibility will be determined based on the date and time that your request was received, based on the website’s logs and email metadata. We will endevour to respond to your request and begin refund processing within 7 business days of receipt of your refund request. 

Refunds will only be issued to your original method of payment. Once initiated, a refund may take several business days for our payment processor and your financial institution to process.

In the unlikely event that the organizer must cancel or reschedule a retreat, all payments and deposits will be full refunded. You may also request to receive a credit that can be applied to the cost of a future retreat.

Travel & Personal Expenses

Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements and costs, to and from the retreat venue.

We are not responsible for travel delays or cancellations, including but not limited to:

  • Weather related issues
  • Delays or cancellations on the part of the Participant’s chosen method of transportation.
  • Personal changes in schedule.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance, which includes trip disruption or cancellation coverage. We will not be held liable for any accomodations, travel, or personal expenses encurred as a result of a delay or cancellation.
